Help with modding guns.
I have been going through my favorite weapons and making modifications to improve upon them. Adding scopes, boosting the elemental damage, etc.
This is a working 4x Incendiary revolver.

Now, what I understand of things, an 'acc5' should be a 4x, like it is with the Incendiary but it's not, it's a 3x Explosive even though it's a 'acc5' Explosive. Title and Prefix shouldn't be a factor, the Incendiary has a non Elemental title and prefix (It's a Twisted Lance) and it has it's 4x Incendiary properties intact. I spent the morning setting raiders on fire with it. So what am I doing wrong, why can't I get the Explosive revolver to 4x Explosive?
And what would I need to do for Corrosive and Lightning as well since those are the next two revolvers to get boosted from 3x to 4x? I'm just changing the sights, changing them to Twisted Lances to boost damage (The Incendiary does close to 900 damage per shot. ) and that would be about it.
