Playing flash games on a PSP is a great way to find free games quickly, but it generally only works where you have a WiFi connection---not terribly useful on a plane, train or automobile. Happily, with a little work you can remove that restriction entirely, without even modifying your PSP or voiding its warranty. The trick is to download the flash files to your computer and put them on your PSP. Then you can open them with the PSP's browser, regardless of whether you've got a WiFi connection or not. PSP games are great, but flash games are near-infinite in supply--and free.
Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Step 1 : Point Firefox to the site of your favorite flash game on the computer. Once you find your game, right click on the website (not the game itself) and click "View Source." Hold the "Ctrl" key, then press "f." Search for the ".swf" file and copy the URL.
Note that the URL here assumes all files are in the same "folder" as the web page itself. So, for example, if the website "www.awesomegamesthatrock.com/games/rock.html" references a SWF file named "rock.swf," the full URL of the SWF file is "www.awesomegamesthatrock.com/games/rock.swf."

Step 2 : Download the game. Paste the full URL of the game into the address bar, and you should see the game in your browser full screen. If this doesn't work, make sure the URL you entered is correct. When you see the game at full screen you can save it to disc by clicking "File," then "Save as" in Firefox.

Step 3 : Plug your PSP into the computer, and create a folder for your game, such as "games." Drag your downloaded game to this folder.
Consider renaming games with long filenames so they are easy to find; for example, rename "awesomestgameinhistoryofearth16435.swf" to "awesome.swf".

Step 4: Unplug the PSP and point you PSP's browser toward the game---assuming you put the game "awesome.swf" in the folder "games" the URL is "file:gamesawesome.swf". Be sure to add your games to your Favorites after you get them to load to avoid typing the URL every time you play the game.
