Wondering how to Mod your Gamertag with a USB? Well, you've can to the right place! Instead of going through all of those helpless posts, you can follow this guide!

What you will need:
1. USB (With a decent about of space)
2. Modio: http://www.filedropper.com/modio
3. EzGT 2.1: http://www.filedropper.com/ezgt21
4. USB Xtaf: http://www.filedropper.com/usbxtafxplorer
5. Winrar: http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR/3000-2250_4-10745708.html

In order to do this, you must configure your USB on your Xbox 360. Go to System Settings->Memory->Memory Unit->Configure USB. You need a significant amount of space on your USB.

Before you start, make sure you have your profile on your USB. If you don't know how to do that, then read this:
Plug your USB into your xbox 360. Next, go to the Dashboard and go over to System Settings. Then, go to Memory. If you have a Hard Drive, then your profile will most likely be in there. Click HDD and go to Gamer Profiles. Finally, click your profile and go to Move. A screen will pop up and click Memory Unit. That is your USB. If you have an arcade and your're using a Hard Drive, click the Memory Unit with the USB icon. Once you have done this, take your USB out from your xbox and put it into your computer. Now you are ready to Mod your Gamertag!

ON THE COMPUTER

First, you need to download the programs. Click the links above to download the program you want.
**Open XTaf from Winrar!
Next, extract them and drag them to your Desktop. Make sure you drag the .dll files to the desktop too. I didn't drag them and it didn't work, so make sure you do.

*Open as Administrator!
Then, open USB xtraf and go to File->Open Device.

If you did it correctly, you should get something like this:

Now keep clicking it until you can't click anymore.

Mine starts with 0. EAA

Once you get that, click Extract:

(I took my numbers off)

Once you Extract the file, it should ask you to save it. Save the file as "Profile" or something that you will remember.

Once you save it, open EzGt 2.1

Open your file that you saved:

Then, go over to options and change your modded profile number. It should be at 0. Make it 1 or 2. Each time you Mod your Gamertag, make it a different number.

Now go to the Add Tab and change your Gamertag to whatever you want!

If you would like your Gamertag to have a buttons and colors, then do the following:
1. Say you were going to do Bad. You wanted the B to be the button B and the AD to be the color red. You would click B and then the color Red. After you do that, then type AD. As soon as you get Bad, click the color Red again to end it. Here is what it should look like.

That is Bad.

Soon as you enter the Gamertag you would like, Save it. You would save it by going to File->Save. File is the blue circle at the top left. Save it to your Desktop. Desktop should be at the top of the list.

It should be at your Desktop:

You are almost done!

Optional Step!
EzGt Rehashes and Resigns for you. I still do it this way, even though it is not necessary.

Open Modio. Once Modio is open, open your file that is on your desktop. Keep clicking the folders until you get to the last one. It should have a little white piece of paper as it's icon.

Drag that file into Modio.

Note: You don't need to have a username and password on Modio to do this.

If you did it correctly, it should look like this:

(I edited out my numbers)

Once you have that screen, click Rehash and Resign 3 times. This is not needed, but i do it anyway.

End of Optional Step!

Now open USB xtraf back up when you are done with Rehasing and Resigning.

Now that you have it back open, go to File->Open Device:

Once your device is found, Content should pop up:

Click it once! Do not go over until you can't click anymore.

If you clicked it once, this should come up.:

The only reason why i have 2 of them is because i already modded my name. Remember, do not go over all the way until you can't click anymore. Click Content ONCE!

Once you have done that, go to Inject Folder. You do not need to have your file highlighted.

It will tell you to find your folder on your desktop. Scroll down to the bottom. Your folder should be there.

Wait for it to inject it. Once it is done, it should look like this.

ON YOUR XBOX

Unplug your USB from your computer and put it in your xbox.

Your xbox should be on and you should be at the dashboard.

This is the Hard Part! PAY ATTENTION!

If you have two or more accounts on your xbox, make sure you sign in with the one your modding. If you sign in with a different account, sign out of it, and sign in with the right one.

Once you are on your right account, start up Modern Warfare 2.

When you are at the Main Menu (where you can choose to play Xbox Live, Split Screen, or System Link. I am not talking about where it asks you to play Multiplayer, Campaign, or Special Ops.) sign out of your profile. Sign into the modded one. It should say Bad or whatever you put. Once you have signed in, click Xbox Live. It should say you do not have permission to go on Xbox Live. It will make you sign into a different account. Sign back into your original account. Then, go to Xbox Live.

Your account should have the name you wanted!

How to change your name!

If you want to change your name, you don't have to Start over! Just open your Profile in EzGt that you saved from Xtaf. Make a new name, save it, and open it in Modio. Then, open Xtaf and inject the folder like you did the first time you modded your name.
